Lovely cafe serving lunch and fab looking cakes in the heart of Hastings Old Town. Excellent sandwiches and toasties. Waitress offered to toast the bread rather than the whole sandwich when I ordered the hummus, carrot and pepper sandwich, which turned out to be a perfect combo. Came with a small tasty salad on the side. My husband had the Brie & Chorizo sandwich and my friend the Cheddar & Chutney (she’d sampled the chutney here before and wanted it again). Bread was very fresh and all were great sandwich combos. Gluten free bread is also available if needed. They also do a Soup of the Day and Dhal of the Day which looked good (we saw on the next table). Lunch is served between 12-4pm. There was a good selection of cakes on show to choose from by the counter (choice of cakes that day on my photos). Between us we had the Banana Loaf, Lemon Meringue cake and Lemon vegan cake. The table next to us were praising their Carrot and Walnut cakes. Cakes are all home-made on the premises with generous slices. Cafe was clean, as were toilets. The service was efficient and staff very friendly. It was busy when we visited mid-week which is a good sign as there are a number of independent cafes alongside it. Lovely to find an independent cafe serving such lovely lunchtime food. Highly recommend.

Just what we wanted on a cold day. A truly wonderful welcome as we entered - everyone felt special as they arrived. Stings and food order taken - so much to choose from for brunch. No full English but most of the components. We had a bacon sandwich and crumpets with peanut butter and banana. Amazing and proper good Italian coffee. Warm and refreshed we went back out to explore the old town. Lovwly place.

We went in to Petit Fi as we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast which would also allow dogs inside. It was 6C outside so a bit chilly to eat! We were welcomed and our 5 month old puppy Springer Spaniel settled down well. We met friends and had a lovely breakfast. The bacon sandwich, eggs benedict and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon all went down well. We will definitely be back. The staff also complimented our dog which gets even more brownie points.

A lovely spot for breakfast! A quaint cafe with good coffee in the heart of Hastings old town. Attentive service, plus make sure you grab some incredible cake to go (portions so big we had it over two meals later that day). Was relatively quiet on our visit, but picked up towards the end of our food. Nice decor with lots of plants, too.
